It’s been quiet around here while I finished up building the Robot Shop. It’s finally up and running, and we’ve got an initial offering of prints and t-shirts. You can buy any comic from the archive, as well as hand-made screen prints and a few shirts. (more coming)

If you don’t find something you like, no worries. Maybe come back once in a while. There will be new designs regularly, as we experiment with figuring out what people like. If you do find something you like, it’s a great way to support your local independent cartoonist in his futile efforts!

I was at Heroes Con in Charlotte, NC over the weekend. Met lots of very friendly people. Thanks to everyone who stopped by. It was a pleasure meeting you all. Thanks to Dustin for inviting me.

I sat on a panel discussion about webcomics on Sunday which included Julie Wertz of The Fart Party, Danielle Corsetto of Girls With Slingshots, Nicholas Gurewitch of Perry Bible Fellowship, and David Malki of Wondermark, and was moderated by Tom Spurgeon of The Comics Reporter. I remember being nervous and not knowing what to talk about. The other, more experienced people had some good stuff to say, so I hope the people who attended got something out of it. Somewhere on-line there is a recording of the whole thing, I am told. Now it’s nice to be home, being an introvert again.

Everyone! Don’t forget! Heroes Convention starts this Friday! Please stop by Indie Island and say hello if you’re around. This is my first convention, so be gentle. I scare easily.

I’ll be bringing along some small, hand-made, limited edition screen prints, as well as a few other prints and bits of artwork to sell. Later, these will be available online too.
